Refund Policy

At Lume & Co. Photo Booth and Events, we strive to provide exceptional service while also maintaining fairness in scheduling, resource allocation, and preparation. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms regarding deposits, payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.

By booking our services, you agree to the following terms:
 

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your event date.

  • The deposit secures your booking and covers administrative and preparatory costs.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before the scheduled event unless otherwise agreed.

2. Client-Initiated Cancellations

If you need to cancel your event:

  • More than 30 days before the event:

    • Your deposit is non-refundable.

    • Any additional payments made will be fully refunded.

  • 15–30 days before the event:

    • Your deposit is non-refundable.

    • 50% of the remaining balance (if already paid) will be refunded.

  • 7 days or fewer before the event:

    • No refunds will be issued.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows:

    • No refund or credit will be provided.

3. Rescheduling

We offer one complimentary reschedule if notice is given at least 14 days before the event, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the event may incur a rescheduling fee.

  • Rescheduled events must occur within 6 months of the original date, or the booking will be considered canceled and the deposit forfeited.

4. Force Majeure / Unexpected Circumstances

If cancellation or rescheduling is due to unforeseen and unavoidable events (e.g., natural disasters, serious illness, venue closure, extreme weather), we will:

  • Work with you to reschedule the event at no additional charge, subject to availability.

  • Consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis, excluding non-refundable deposits.

5. Lume & Co.-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control:

  • You will receive a full refund, including your deposit.

  • We will do our best to assist you in finding an alternative vendor, though we cannot guarantee replacement services.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued via the original method of payment (through Stripe) within 7–10 business days.

  • Transaction fees incurred via third-party processors may not be refundable.
